Closer to Africa than to Italy, the west coast of Sicily,for long stretches is rough and wild,keeping intact some of the most beautiful natural areas around the Mediterranean.The coast line stretches for about 150 km from the southern side to the northern acquiring its typical arched form.

Safe harbor of the Phoenicians and Arabs, the coast of Trapani has been strongly influenced by Arabic culture: the lower housing, spicy cuisine, and even influences in the local dialects, here they breathe an intense smell of Africa.

It is the coast of history: from the ancient to the modern enterprise: it is where Garibaldi landed in command of the Italian Thousand for liberation against the Bourbon troops.
